The updating of Contramaestre’s local development strategy was recently approved in the nineteenth ordinary session of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power in the eighteenth term of office.
The approval of new local public policies aims, according to the opinion of the commission that presented the proposal, to strengthen the design that extends until 2030 and with the territory aims to achieve significant progress in all areas of economic and social life.
The food system in the territorial districts, the bean and banana program, as well as sorghum, have been inserted in the productive dynamics of the municipality that seeks to stabilize its macro-economy through the promotion of local production and income from exports.
The updating of the local development strategy in Contramaestre is aimed at accelerating other processes to correct distortions in the economy, reducing the current inflation, the fiscal deficit and the financial imbalance, in order to achieve better attention to the fulfillment of social policies.
