During the period, conditioning actions were undertaken in the Military Sector, advancing in key objectives that guarantee the living conditions of the personnel, who enjoyed several festive and recreational activities.
In this line, food production was boosted by taking advantage of the available areas, the experience of officers and soldiers, as well as the contribution of agricultural structures in the territory.
The preparation of the command and management bodies was an essential aspect of the period, raising the political, technical and military level of officers, sergeants, soldiers and civilian workers. A territorial defense course was among the most outstanding activities.
The recovery of the anti-gas masks for the protection of the population in wartime, as well as the participation in political and social events such as the march of torches, the celebration of the Day of the militiaman and the acts of promotion and decoration, as well as the commemoration of the 35th anniversary of Operation Tribute, are among the highlights.
