Under the spring energy that this season inspires, the food workers of Contramaestre, already begin to shine with force to shake with their own light in the proletarian parade for May Day.
These men and women committed to the production of food for the people, with creative initiatives, make virtue their greatest greatness, strengthening themselves in the labor union movement of the municipality with the purpose of being among the first in the multitude of faces, banners and slogans.
From now on, the contributions multiply in each workers’ collective, where proletarian ideas flourish with love, fidelity, victorious beats, to reaffirm once again that despite the recrudescent blockade, the Food Industry in the territory has a clear mission in defense of alternative productions that respond to the feeding of its people.
This productive force has also extended its arm in the Blood Bank to donate the purest of its revolutionary feelings, to save other needy lives that are grateful for the altruistic gesture.
The contribution with a layette for May Day to the first woman who brings her baby into the world, stands out as another of the proposals of the workers of the sector, who lovingly make their deliveries, fruit of the will and solidarity of the food workers of the locality, to reward the most important symbol of family authority.
Taking inspiration from the great celebration of identity, the asphalt of city streets, as well as the challenge to vanguard institutions for the World Proletariat Day, have been witnesses of the human, enthusiastic and combative warmth of men and women who, with overwhelming impulse, make the initiative their protagonism, on the eve of the celebration.
As in previous years, Fidel and Martí will accompany this avalanche of workers of the Food Industry, who will walk in the same direction to demonstrate the sense of unity that prevails in them, to show that the economic battle we are fighting has its support in these proletarians.
In view of the call for this May Day, the food workers of Contramaestre are ready to shine with their own light on a day that will remain for history, because in this great force of heart and principles the projects do not stop.
