The workers of the municipal directorate of Economy and Planning of Contramaestre, held their balance assembly for the year 2024.
The main objective of the meeting was the presentation of the results obtained in the municipality during that period, as well as the work projections for the current year.
At the meeting, the evaluation of the four objectives set by the entity for 2024 was announced, among which the realization of an economic-social development plan that covers all levels of management, and the prioritized treatment of import substitution in the municipality was announced.
The space was conducive to discussing aspects of interest in the economic development of the territory, such as the operation of municipal companies and the use of mini-industries for food processing.
María Evelyn Matamoros Fernández, municipal director of Economy and Planning in Contramaestre, said that the work carried out in 2024 was marked by external difficulties that had an impact on the economy of the territory, but even so, satisfactory results were achieved in general.
By 2025, the entity proposes a total of 10 first-order objectives, in addition to the commitment to maintain first place in emulation at the provincial level.
