With the presence of the First Secretary of the Party in the municipality comrade Yoelvis Suarez Zapata and the Governor in the province Manuel Falcon Hernandez the Plan of the Economy and the State Budget for the year 2025 was approved in the municipality of Contramaestre.
In a work session led by the president of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, the fiscal strategy for the current year was presented, in which the largest items are once again destined to guarantee basic services to the population in activities such as public health and education.
One aspect that Governor Manuel Falcón insistently alluded to was the constant link with the base, the demand and the popular control to achieve a more effective execution of the Plan and the Budget.
He also called attention to fiscal discipline, the payment of taxes and the delivery of production to the planned destinations. All this as essential elements in the strategy to achieve the increase and diversification of income, the improvement of national production and the recovery of the Electricity System.
The top government figure in Santiago de Cuba called for the severity in the analysis and the application of measures to those who violate what has been established, putting at risk the fulfillment of the economy plan, which derives in the concretion of policies and the attention to social programs.
He also insisted that it is in the municipality where the battle is won to turn the territory into a surplus municipality, identifying and correctly managing the existing reserves to consolidate development strategies.
