Every year, America Libre Agroindustrial Company plays a leading role in the end of the year fair that takes place in the southeastern municipality of Contramaestre, being this entity responsible for the self-sufficiency of the jurisdiction of Santiago de Cuba.
On this occasion, the company has designed a program that is expected to meet the demand of the Contramaestrian population. According to Ernesto Rosales Molina, director of the company, we are going to participate in two moments, we are going to participate in the fair of the municipality of Contramaestre and in that of Santiago de Cuba. In the case of our territory, 200 tons of cassava, 16 tons of sweet potato, 10 tons of plantain vianda will be marketed. We have 2 quintals of pump-fruit, in the case of this crop we are working so that on that day this production, whoever wishes to acquire it ripe, 3 quintals of guava, 1 of orange and 1 of grapefruit.
Rosales Molina also said that all these productions are already insured for the day of the fair. The director assured that 150 sticks will be deposited for chance and 20 pigs will also be deposited for chance.
