Recently a neighbor expressed to me with some disgust that he agrees with the people to confront those who adulterate prices and take advantage of the difficulties we have, but who should take action are the authorities.
On the matter that portrays so many daily incidents, the appearance of those who should bring order and control in certain situations, needs a major undertaking.
The repeated mockery of the price of fares in private transportation, such as animal-drawn carriages, the lack of the official list of products in points of sale, cart drivers and peddlers with alarming prices, the deterioration of good service and the rampant mistreatment that rises in tone when customers complain, are problems that grow with the passing of the days.
It becomes necessary then the energetic action of the authorities without formulas of lukewarm cloths, which lead to the mockery of legality. If these evils that corrode society are allowed to continue to proliferate, opportunists will continue to proliferate without any condescension towards the people.
The concern of the majority in the face of an issue that seems to have no end, needs receptive ears and hard hands to carry out energetic actions against the skein in which we have become entangled.
Because even if the people support the confrontation of this wave of abuse and disrespect, if there are no institutional decision makers to counteract certain tendencies that squeeze our pockets and disappear socially, life will continue without changes in our favor.
Let us look at life with self-respect, with humanism to overcome the vicissitudes, shortages… How? by showing solidarity and thinking of the common good.
If we act with sensitivity, understanding and reciprocal help, everyday life will be more pleasant, making personal and collective satisfaction a unique, pleasant and respectful event for a country that needs to stand up for the good of its inhabitants.
