In the first days of July, the recreational cultural project Ruta Teatral of the municipality of Contramaestre was launched at the same time as the inauguration of the Mascarada art exhibition in the city’s art gallery.
It immediately joined the summer tour of rural communities throughout the territory to which it has so far taken a varied program in which children’s performances have been well received by the public in these places, some of which are far away from the municipal capital.
The determination to reach as many settlements as possible has led them to overcome all kinds of material limitations and in campaign conditions they have kept working for the enjoyment of those who offer the greatest reward: applause and gratitude through a smile.
The recreational cultural project Ruta Teatral of the Contramaestre municipality is a sample of the initiatives that, in the midst of very difficult conditions, the young artists of this territory of Santiago de Cuba are sustaining during the current vacation period.
