A group of of young men belonging to the Centennial Generation headed by Fidel Castro , tried to take hold of the sky by surprise on July 26,1953.
Today, National Rebellion Day, marked on the calendar as July 26, many countries including Cuba celebrate the Grandparents Day, since 2002, to express respect and love for elderly people.
I watch with joy those grandparents who we have to talk out-loud because those almost deaf ears can hardly hear. I noticed that we can´t answer with a simple gesture, almost undetermined to them. Sometimes we need to go back to our childhood to remember what they did to teach us how to speak.
I admire those grandparents who taught us and educate us, and still today they have the will to ask ¨How are you doing_¨, ¨What´s wrong?, ¨How was your day?¨, ¨Are you going to work today?, doing their best to make you do better.
I respect those grandparents who insist in their grandchildren´s behavior, so that they are as good as they can, trying to break the proverb: ¨Nobody experience by someone else´s head. Generally grandparents are the ones who teach how to cook a delicious food.
They also teach how to behave in public, how to be polite and respectful, how get along well with other people, how to take care of nature and properly use the language.
To those people whose skin is marked by time, playing the leading role in their families, our gratitude for existing. Gratitude to them also because they are the link between the present and the past, who are able to understand youth through their experience and wisdom.
