The municipality of Contramaestre inaugurated the summer season. According to what was known in the context of the beginning of the vacation period, the options will be oriented to healthy recreation, relying on local resources, counting on the creativity and initiatives of the inhabitants of this territory of Santiago de Cuba.
Making the most of the territory’s potentialities by relying on initiatives and creativity for healthy recreation during the months of July and August is a maxim of the municipality of Contramaestre.
This was expressed in the opening ceremony of the holiday period in this territory of Santiago de Cuba, which was attended by the main political and administrative authorities led by the First Secretary of the Party Yoelvis Suarez Zapata and the president of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power Manuel Rodriguez Alfaro.
Young people from the José Martí Brigade, the Asolación Hermanos Saiz and a representation of educational institutions, starred in the cultural part of the meeting in which some of the proposals of INDER, an organization that each year stands out for the deployment of activities in Contramaestrian neighborhoods and communities, were advanced.
In the municipal strategy, actions have been conceived in the thirteen popular councils, tours to historical sites, camping, popular camping trips and competitive events enhancing the weekends because Contramaestre is already in summer mood.
