With the representation of the Contramaestrian people, a ceremony for the Battle of Maffo took place in Rolando Ayub Coffee Processing Company, this December 30, the ceremony for the December 30, the ceremony for the 65th anniversary of the Battle of Maffo.
Also Also present at the ceremony was Dania Marzán Venero, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Annia Poblador Serguera, member of the Provincial Committee of the Party and of its Executive Bureau for the social sphere, and Yoelbis Suárez Zapata, secretary of the Party in Contramaestre, Manuel Rodríguez Alfaro, president of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power in this territory, and other political, governmental and mass organization leaders.
Yoelbis Suárez Zapata, secretary of the party in Contramaestre, highlighted the importance that the Battle of Maffo had for the entry of the Rebel Army in Rebel Army and the definitive Triumph of the Revolution.
Suárez Zapata recognized the effort made by the Contramaestrian people to move forward and defend our social project in spite of the difficulties.
Party Secretary in Contramaestre, Yoelbis Suárez Zapata, makes his own, together with the people of Contramaestre, the commitment to work to achieve better economic results.
Finally, he called on the Contramaestrians to continue fighting and working for a better society of justice and equality.
Once again the people of the municipality of Contramaestre and its leaders honor the great victory of the Rebel Army in the Battle of Maffo, under the command of Fidel Castro.
