Juan Almeida Bosque is our pride for being a hero and a talisman, for being irreversible truth, for being born to stay and to cross borders with an everlasting example. The affection he won among his people cannot fade away, nor can the loving memory of his work underpinned by virtues, with a rifle in his arm and a poet’s chest.
From Comandante Almeida we learned that the only way for the poor is to fight to conquer their rights, to achieve freedom, to defend the independence and sovereignty stolen by enemy governments.
