An overwhelming concentration enjoyed the municipal ceremony to honer the assault to Moncada Garrison by Fidel Castro, a deed that opened the doors to freedom, sovereignty and dignity.
Children and young local artist gave the best of them to the people present in Contramaestre central square.
The occasion was good to acknowledge the excellent performance of entities and individual workers during the first half of the year. Some got the cards as new members of the Communist Young League and the Communist Party of Cuba.
The central speech of the ceremony were delivered by the secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in Contramaestre municipality, through which, apart from, referring to the historic attack, he referred to how much everyone should provide and do to make living standards improve in the territory.
Labrada Castillo called the people in Contramaestre to tighten the fight against corruption and crimes of all kinds, and encourage the people to be patient and optimistic, since he talked about what is being doing in regards to extremely high prices of produce and the quality of service.
“Trust the Cuban Revolution, don’t let it be destroyed”, Labrada Castilo emphasized.
