As the organic process prior to the Ninth Congress of the Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba is underway in Contramaestre from June to October 2023, its membership at the Municipal University Center, CUM, developed the Assembly of Balance: with deep analysis of the work in the last five years and the look focused on how to contribute to the development in this jurisdiction of eastern Cuba.
In the Ninth ANEC Congress debates, the nine members of this association in the CUM of Contramaestre, asserted their positive influence to bring science and innovation to the forefront, to promote scientific research aimed at import substitution and to continue conceiving projects that favor economic, productive and socio-cultural development as well as environmental protection.
On this occasion, they approved ANEC’s new work objectives until its next Congress, scheduled for 2024. One of its challenges is to provide solutions to the bank of problems of the territory, including a portfolio of 4 projects, two in the socio-cultural environment and the same number framed in the environment of local development.
Economists and Accountants towards their congress
Also, the Economists and Accountants of the University Center of Contramaestre, from its base section will continue contributing to the application of appropriate biotechnology to coffee, to promote among coffee growers to raise their knowledge and good practices, as it is one of the crops with great economic weight in the agriculture of the municipality.
Likewise, with the realization of workshops, seminars and advisory courses, among other actions, they will favor the training and knowledge of managers, workers and population, in economic, financial and accounting matters, including the new economic actors, with the premise that a true business efficiency is required.
At Contramaestre, the economists and accountants of the higher education center expect to arrive at the Ninth ANEC Congress demonstrating high prestige and professional ethics as well as social responsibility. Like this one, there will be 43 assemblies in the territory, all framed in the organic process of the Ninth Congress of the organization, in order to “Continue Contributing to Development”.
