“As foreseen in the work program for these elections, as from May 20, the Municipal Electoral Council, CEM, receives from its provincial counterpart the documentation of the proposed candidates. From that moment on, the designated member of the CEM delivers to the delegates to the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power the biographies and photos of the candidates, documents that are sent by the National Electoral Council, CEN. It is worth clarifying that this documentation is delivered to the delegates no less than 72 hours prior to the voting day”.
