The assembly process prior to the Ninth Congress of the Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba, ANEC, is being developed in the base sections that make up this guild in Contramaestre, to assess the compliance with the work strategy of this organization in the last five years.
The schedule to this end is expected to be materialized between May and October 2023, to complete the 43 assemblies planned, representing the same number of ANEC grassroots organizations in this territory, which has 475 members, linked to the agri-food, business and service sectors.
A very specific issue marks the progress of the organic process of the Ninth ANEC Congress in Contramaestre: the analysis of the scientific and innovative activity adjusted to the business strategy to accompany the economy and local development in the face of the challenges posed by the cruel economic, commercial and financial blockade of the government of the United States against Cuba.
Economists to strengthen accounting
Prior to the conclave of Cuban economists and accountants, to be held in June 2024, their counterparts in this municipality from the grassroots section are also focusing on the enforcement of agreement 9041 on the strengthening of accounting, approved by the Council of Ministers.
Regarding the work of ANEC of Contramaestre in the last five years, they highlight the accompaniment of the organization to the local government to achieve the strengthening of the economic base of society and the design of superior forms of organization and management of economic and social relations.
In the period under assessment, this membership took part in ten major actions, with priority given to price files and the preparation of cost sheets. Special assistance was also given to the new economic actors of the territory for the development of their projects and businesses, and there are currently 44 MSMEs.
The ANEC of Contramaestre arrives at the Ninth Congress of this organization with more than a hundred of actions of improvement carried out, among courses, conferences, workshops, forum debates, among others, as well as with presence in other events such as the one dedicated to the Economist Woman, the Student Scientist, Accounting and Business Management, Local Development and Forum of Economy.
