Beijing, May 20 (Prensa Latina) Cuba received on Saturday the Most Distinctive Tourist Destination award granted by the International Travel Fair in the city of Guangzhou, southern China.
The award was granted to Cuba´s Tourism Ministry (MINTUR) and recognizes Cuba as the most unique and characteristic tourist destination, with safety, broad cultural, patrimonial and historical legacy.
It also praises Cuba’s numerous health, wellness and quality-of-life tourism products, its aromas and flavors, as well as the Cuban people´s hospitality and friendliness.
Cuba is attending this important fair and in this context officially launched the Cuba Única promotional campaign.
Cuban authorities consider the fair as a great chance to promote Cuba’s tourism destinations, products and potential in the Caribbean.
