This May Day, Cubans will once again experience a historical day in the celebrations for International Workers’ Day, expressing their support for keeping the island free and sovereign.
The hard economic situation that the country is going through, fundamentally marked by the intensification of the US blockade that constantly affects the wellbeing of Cubans and we are committed to resist in a creative way, where the search for solutions to the innumerable problems takes up a lot of our time, but we are more than used to all of this and we are also used to overcoming obstacles.
May Day, an occasion to celebrate
This new day of celebrations will be no different even though many detractors of the revolutionary process are betting on the contrary and are playing their cards in a very dirty way to achieve it.
We will redouble our efforts in practical recoveries that will lead to the improvement of the living conditions of the people, we will be more careful in our economic calculations to save resources that will allow us to advance, we will double our contributions to the economy, food production as our main task, we will control what has been implemented and we will continue with our social projects.
