The new generations of Cubans belong to that heroic people about whom the President of the Cuban Republic spoke just a few days ago when he acknowledged the popular participation in the national elections.
They stand out precisely because the new generations play a leading role in the implementation of those priorities on which the progress and development that this country has set for itself under very difficult conditions.
This is largely due to the vanguard organizations that bring them together, the José Martí Pioneers Organization and the Young Communist League, which celebrated their 62nd and 61st anniversaries this April 4, respectively.
The new generations in clear waters
Far from elitism, in both organizations is forged the character and the patriotic will, the superior spirit of the Cuban based on that idea of the Apostle, emerged in the context of the tribute to the eight medical students killed by the Spanish ordas.
Then José Martí defined the new man as a continuator of the struggles of his people, defender of just causes, even in adversity and in the face of the most challenging circumstances.
