In Contramaestre, childhood is hope

Adán and Emily Flores Prado, two genetically related children, 3 and 4 years old respectively, from the municipality of Contramaestre, do not escape happiness by sharing the most beautiful stages of their lives, their smiles, mischief and rights.

It is amazing to see how they turn the world upside down and paralyze any work, no matter how important it is; their imagination will always be an open door.

Because Adam and Emily already prove themselves as artists, when they sing to their dolls or when they blow up their invention by scribbling on paper to make the sun shine or illustrate a flower.

For them, order is a utopia, as they never cease to surprise you with their antics with their toy box, to prove themselves as doctors, teachers, cooks or simply to imitate mom and dad.

The wakefulness of their parents is a constant state with touches of startle. They sing and dance to their heart’s content, demanding applause with repetition of their joyful acts. The walls of the house also expose the drawings of their dreams.

Reiterative scoldings are not with them, their names are not worn out either, it is a fact. The ingenious answers and paternal juggling conjugate daily to not lose their sanity and to give free rein to that world of chimera, visible in that universe of fantasies.

These recurring details in the little ones are part of happiness, they make the heart bloom, revive the soul, love life.

Because that well-being is shared with guarantees of rights that Cuba gives to its children, so that they can be educated, have medical assistance, protection, laugh happily and live secure in their existence, so that children like Adam and Emily Flores Prado, genetically related, continue to be a hope for the world.
