The family, as the fundamental cell of society, continues to be a topic of great interest around the world. That is why every May 15th is celebrated the International Day of Families, which is an opportunity to reflect on the importance of families in the development of people.
In this sense, the care of children and adolescents is a fundamental aspect, especially in contexts of digitalization and widespread use of social networks. In Cuba, the training of the elderly is guaranteed for the welfare of these age groups.
One of the best ways to achieve this is through family education schools, which are taught with the aim of providing guidance on various issues and problems that may arise in the lives of children, young people or adolescents.
Certainly, the preparation of children for the future includes not only the academic aspect, but also the rules of social coexistence, human values and respect for all people.
This is not an exclusive task of teachers and educational centers, but a responsibility of parents and legal guardians, as well as of all those who make up the family nucleus. Strengthening bonds of affection and trust is the key to success in the formation of the men and women of tomorrow.
Cuban families today face numerous challenges, ranging from the economic aspect to coexistence in the home; however, their role is still decisive in the course of social life. The correct education of the new generations, besides being a duty, is the great challenge of these times.
