Contramaestre Government defines working goals for 2019

The Contramaestre government defined its main work goals for 2019, in correspondence with the updating of the economic and social development model, as requested by the President of Cuba, Miguel Mario Díaz Canel, at the closing of the Second Ordinary Session of the Cuban Parliament.

The local government raised about ten priorities in order to comply with the productive economic plans and the execution of the budget set for the new period.

On the other hand, alternatives are foreseen before the possible adversities that may arise, in different areas of the internal economic scenario.

In addition, the goals for 2019 are to work to reverse the negative opinions on the delegate’s performance and to reinforce the people’s confidence in the Cuban political system. As well as to continue improving the people’ power and expanding the mechanisms of participation of the residents in governmental programs.

These goals include enhancing the effectiveness of the application of the cadre policy for elected and appointed positions, as well as renewing their work styles and counteracting the actions of enemy subversion, crime, corruption and social indisciplines. Last but not least, to guarantee order and citizens’ tranquility in Contramaestre.
