A Pilgrimage in Contramaestre to honor martyrs

Contramaestre people paid tribute to the martyrs fallen for the homeland with a giant pilgrimage. The solemn journey from the town of Maffo to the graveyard of the municipal cemetery was a tribute to those who have rested there for 29 years.

The traditional homage to our internationalists was marked with human solidarity by pioneers, students, workers, fighters of the Revolution and relatives of the children who offered their lives for their homeland, as well as, in defence of the legitimate rights of other peoples to live in freedom.

This Pilgrimage in Contramaestre was undoubtedly a reencounter with local and national history.
