Cuba reports 2 new cases of Covid-19

As of yesterday’s close, July 12, 249 patients were admitted to hospitals for clinical epidemiological care. Another 233 are under surveillance in primary health care.

For COVID-19, 2,978 samples were studied, resulting in two positive samples. The country has collected 208,098 samples and 2,428 positive samples (1.2%). Therefore, at yesterday’s close, two new cases were confirmed, accumulating 2,428 in the country.

The two diagnosed cases are Cuban, one (50%) was contact with previously confirmed cases and the other (50%) with a source of infection abroad. 100% (2) of the cases were asymptomatic. Of the two confirmed cases, one (50%) is female and the other (50%) is male.
