Cuba reports 97 new Covid-19 cases

The Ministry of Public Health reports that as of yesterday’s closing, November 30th, 3,991 patients were admitted for clinical-epidemiological surveillance, 736 suspected, 2,670 under surveillance and 585 confirmed.

For COVID-19, 10 thousand 607 samples were studied, resulting in 97 positive samples. The country accumulates one million 125 thousand 751 samples made and 8 thousand 381 positive ones (0.74%).

Of the total number of cases (97):

51 were confirmed case contacts

45 with source of infection abroad and no source of infection specified one.

Of the total cases (97), 96 are Cuban and one foreigner.

72.2% (70) of the 97 positive cases were asymptomatic, making a total of 5,295, which represents 63.2% of those confirmed to date.

Out of the 8,381 patients diagnosed with the disease, 585 (6.9%) are confirmed, 581 (99.3%) with stable clinical evolution. So far, 136 deaths (one in the day), two evacuated and 7 thousand 658 recovered patients (91.4%) are reported (27 discharges in the day). Nowadays, four patients are reported in the country’s intensive therapies, one in critical state and three in severe state.
