Cuba reports 7628 new cases of Covid-19 at the end of yesterday, September 15, after the study of 56,070 samples in the last 24 hours, so the country accumulates 8 million 835,501 samples taken and 776,125 positive, according to the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
According to the report, 95,550 patients have been admitted, 53,722 are suspected, 3,034 are under surveillance and 38,794 are confirmed active.
Of the total number of cases (7628): 7599 were contacts of confirmed cases; 20 with source of infection abroad; 9 with no source of infection specified. Of the 7628 diagnosed cases, 4092 were female and 3536 were male.
A total of 4.7% (358) of the 7628 positive cases were asymptomatic, making a total of 123,024 cases, representing 15.0% of those confirmed to date.
The 7628 diagnosed cases belong to the following age groups: under 20 years of age (1864); 20 to 39 years of age (1817), 40 to 59 years of age (2292), 60 and over (1655).

Of the 776,125 patients diagnosed with the disease, 38,794 remain hospitalized, of whom 38,336 are clinically stable. There were 6,601 deaths (78 during the day), with a case fatality rate of 0.85% vs. 2.06% in the world and 2.47% in the Americas; two evacuated, 55 returned to their countries, 7,592 discharged during the day, and 730,673 patients recovered (94.1%). There are 458 confirmed patients in intensive care, of which 138 are critical and 320 severe.
