Cuba confirmed 22 new cases of Covid-19, and no deaths at yesterday’s close, November 14, according to reports from the site of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap).
The figures are the result of 8,760 samples analyzed in the different laboratories of Molecular Biology of the national territory.
The country has accumulated 969 thousand 339 samples and 7 thousand 590 positive (0.78%), since the pandemic started in Cuba last March 11th.
Of the 22 positive ones, 18 were contacts of confirmed cases, three were infected abroad and one without a precise source of contagion. Of the total, 10 are female and 12 are male.
The 77.2% of the 22 positive cases were asymptomatic at the time of the PCR.
The indigenous cases are from the provinces of Pinar del Rio (18) and Sancti Spíritus (1).
The three imported cases belong to the provinces of Camagüey, Holguín and Santiago de Cuba.
There are 397 hospitalized patients in the country. Of them, 395 with stable clinical evolution. Two patients are in serious condition. There were 45 medical discharges, with which 7,060 patients were recovered (93.0%).
