Cuba reports 2,138 new cases of Covid-19 at the end of yesterday, October 14, after the study of a total of 32,360 samples for surveillance for the day, so the country accumulates 10 million 111,292 samples taken and 930,822 positive, according to information from the Ministry of Public Health.
The report shows that 27,743 patients have been admitted, 15,992 are suspected, 1,474 are under surveillance and 10,277 are confirmed active.
Of the total number of cases (2,138): 2,118 were contacts of confirmed cases; 17 with source of infection abroad; 3 with no source of infection specified. Of the 2,138 cases diagnosed, 1,143 were female and 995 were male.
Of the 2,138 positive cases, 6.1% (130) were asymptomatic, making a total of 129,035, representing 13.9% of those confirmed to date.
The 2,138 cases diagnosed belonged to the following age groups: under 20 years of age (410), 20 to 39 years of age (491), 40 to 59 years of age (730) and over 60 years of age (507).

Songo La Maya: 5 (contacts of confirmed cases).
Of the 930,822 patients diagnosed with the disease, 10,277 remain hospitalized, 9,990 of them with stable clinical evolution. There are 8 thousand 18 deaths (24 on the day), a case fatality rate of 0.86% vs. 2.04% in the world and 2.45% in the Americas; two evacuated, 55 returned to their countries, 3 thousand 428 discharged on the day, and 912 thousand 470 patients have recovered (98.0%). There are 287 confirmed patients in intensive care, 84 of whom are critical and 203 serious.
