Authorities of the Ministry of Public Health reported this Thursday 21 positive cases to Covid19 in Cuba during the last 24 hours, for a total of 7 thousand 725 sick people since the beginning of the pandemic in March.
As of the close of yesterday, November 18, 2,687 patients were admitted for clinical epidemiological surveillance, 540 suspected, 1,756 under surveillance and 391 confirmed.
For COVID-19, 8 thousand 684 samples were studied, resulting in 21 positive samples. The country accumulates one million 002 thousand 370 samples made and 7 thousand 725 positive (0.77%).
Of the total number of cases (21): 13 were contacts of confirmed cases, seven with a source of infection abroad and one without a precise source of infection.
Of the 21 diagnosed cases, 12 were female and 9 were male. 66.6% (14) of the 21 positive cases were asymptomatic.
