Bank Workers in Contramaestre at the VanguardIntense work sessions are faced by various organizations in Contramaestre, municipality of Santiago de Cuba province, to enforce the legal framework of the monetary order, announced by Cuban President, Miguel Díaz Canel, through national radio and television, in reference to the changes in the distribution of the population’s income with the wage reform as of January 1, 2021.
In the midst of the preparations to carry out this task, in this municipality of Eastern Cuba, the Directorate of Labor and Social Security, the Cuban Post Office, and the banking branches, among others, have concentrated on the study of the 19 Resolutions of the Ministry of Labor, which contain the provisions on salaries, pensions and social assistance benefits that will be in force when the Ordering Task begins.
Monetary Order in Counter-Master
In compliance with the provisions, Miguel Perez Garcia, director in the Municipal Subsidiary of Social Security of Contramaestre ratified that in this territory, everything is ready to guarantee the legal framework of the monetary order, from this December 17, with the beginning of the payment of the increased pensions of the Social Security in its different regimes.
In order for this process to be developed with the quality, control and rigor that it demands, payment centers will be set up in those districts far from the municipal capital, in addition to the enforcement that the banks and their cashiers, ATMs and post office units will have.
In Contramaestre, there are more than 13,700 Social Security beneficiaries, including retirees and pensioners. The minimum pension will be in the value of the basket of goods and services of reference (1,528 pesos), and will increase in a staggered manner, depending on the scale approved.
