Economic actors in Cuba focus on economic-productive conference

Havana, Oct 8 (Prensa Latina) The transformations of the national economic actors focus this Friday the second day of the Cuba 2021 Economic-Productive Conference, considered a contribution in search for solutions amid the country’s exceptional and complex situation.

Deputy Minister of Economy and Planning Johana Odriozola is the speaker and will talk about the changes, legal framework that accompanies the new forms of management and the current situation of the approval and formation of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and non-agricultural cooperatives.

Doctor of Science Agustin Lage is expected to give a conference today’s afternoon on business management based on innovation and knowledge.

During the opening ceremony of the event, Deputy Prime Minister Alejandro Gil pointed out that the event is being held precisely when the country is gradually recovering from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and when there are clear results in its control, thanks to the efforts of science and biotechnology and the vaccination process of the population.

Cuba’s  perspectives

The presentation of ‘Para crecer juntos’ (To grow together), a Business Guide with information and data of all forms of economic management of the country that will allow to establish agreements, productive linkages, bids, sell idle products, expose or seek job offers and other benefits, was among the new features of this first day of the Conference.

The Cuban Observatory of Economic Sciences, a scientific information management system that will provide access to scientific results, innovations and several materials on the domestic and global economy, was also announced.
