Vice President of the Republic of Uganda to begin visit to Cuba today

Havana, 9 Feb (ACN) Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi, vice president of the Republic of Uganda, will begin an official visit to Cuba today.

During his stay, the distinguished visitor will hold official talks with Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdes Mesa and carry out other activities, reports the Cubaminrex website.

Uganda is a landlocked country in East Africa whose diverse territory includes the Rwenzori Mountains and the immense Lake Victoria.

Its abundant fauna includes chimpanzees and rare birds. The remote Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a famous mountain gorilla sanctuary, according to data taken from the Internet.

Murchison Falls National Park in the northwest is famous for its wildlife and 43-meter high waterfall.
