Santiago de Cuba.- The Secretary of the Caribbean States, June Soomer, and the Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Ricardo Cabrisas, cut the inaugural ribbon of the 16th ExpoCaribe Trade Fair taking place in Santiago de Cuba city.
The event, with more than 300 exhibitors from Cuba and about twenty nations, will take place until June 22nd, at Heredia Theater in Santiagode Cuba.
In the opening ceremony, Antonio Carricarte, first vice minister of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, said that Cuba is working for the Caribbean to become a stronger and more shared space to eliminate difficulties and ensure the future.
While the Secretary of the Caribbean States, June Soomer, in the final speech advocated for better results in coordination and cooperation among nations.
