Havana, Cuba. The Coordinating Office of the Non-Aligned Movement issued an official statement condemning the terrorist attack on the Cuban embassy in Washington on April 30.
The organization expresses its concern for the silence of the US government towards the armed attack on the Cuban diplomatic headquarters and rejects the arbitrary inclusion of the island in a list of countries that do not make an effort to combat terrorism.
It also reiterates its position against all types of terrorism, without distinction of states, religions, governments, political parties, or the factors that can be invoked to justify them.
The Non-Aligned Movement reminded the White House government of its obligation to take all measures to protect the premises of permanent missions in the US capital, including the Cuban Embassy.
