Díaz Canel is in Venezuela to attend the inauguration of President Nicolás Maduro

The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, is in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to participate in the Inauguration Ceremony for the Constitutional President, Nicolás Maduro Moros, legitimately reelected by the Venezuelan people on May 20, 2018.

During his stay Diaz-Canel will express the solidarity and support of the Cuban people and government to comrade Maduro in his new term as head of the Venezuelan government and to the civil-military union of the Bolivarian people.

The occasion will be suitable to reaffirm the excellent relations existing between the peoples and governments of Venezuela and Cuba.

The Cuban leader is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, and the Cuban ambassador to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Rogelio Polanco Fuentes.
