Havana, Jan 15 (ACN) Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of the Republic of Cuba, congratulated Cuban scientists through social networks on the occasion of today’s Science Day.
In his twitter account he recalled Fidel’s words, when he said: “The future of our country must necessarily be a future of men of science, it must be a future of men of thought, because that is precisely what we are sowing most. Congratulations to our scientists on Science Day.
The message of the Cuban leader has had great repercussion in the scientific community, in the name of which the Master of Science in Mathematics David Capablanca, ratified: We will continue to be committed to the present and the future of the country, we will not fail in our commitment.
Cuban Science Day is celebrated every January 15, in remembrance of the fact that on the same date in 1960 the Historic Leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, proclaimed that the future of Cuba must necessarily be a future of men of science.
