Havana.- The president of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, received Tuesday in this city the members of the 30th edition of the US-Cuba Friendship Caravan, organized by the Interreligious Foundation for the Community Organization IFCO-Pastors for Peace.
The group – made up of 34 people from the United States, Canada and Mexico – is headed by Gail Walker, daughter of the Reverend Lucius Walker, (1930-2010).
During the meeting, Díaz-Canel expressed our country’s gratitude for the valuable solidarity work of the Pastors for Peace, who stand for the noblest sentiments of the American people.
The visitors expressed their willingness to continue organizing these caravans of love and friendship in support of Cuba, according to a note from the nightly broadcast of the National Television News.
