The demarcation of Patricio Lumumba in Contramaestre, will host the municipal act for July 26, 66th anniversary of the attacks on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks.
The inhabitants of Lumumba received this honor with a strong mass movement to revitalize the image of the district. The restoration includes painting of recreational, labor, educational, health, commercial and gastronomic units.
In addition, other actions with great social impact are being undertaken to celebrate the date, including the completion of the children’s playground, the cleaning and decorating of the cafeteria “La Algarroba” and the sowing of plants in areas adjacent to the Square.
The mass organizations of the territory, among them the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) and the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) left their mark with several tasks to develop there an act for July 26 as its inhabitants deserve.
The concentration of the people for such an important moment will begin at 7:30 in the morning this Friday, July 19, in the square of La Algarroba.
This place will also host recreational and cultural activities, as well as the sale of gastronomic products, options that everyone can enjoy when the municipal event ends on July 26.
