As of yesterday’s close, June 26, 138 patients were in hospitals for clinical epidemiological surveillance. Another 112 people are being monitored in their homes by the Primary Health Care.
For COVID-19, 2,288 samples were studied, resulting in 5 positive samples. The country has accumulated 163,962 samples and 2,330 positive samples (1.4%). Therefore, at yesterday’s close, 5 new cases were confirmed, for an accumulated total of 2,330 in the country.
The 5 confirmed cases were Cuban. Of the diagnosed cases, 4 (80%) were contacts of confirmed cases and 1 (20%) with a source of infection abroad. Of these, 3 (60%) were female and 2 (40%) were male. By age group: 2 were under 20 years of age, 2 were between 20 and 60 years of age, and 1 was over 60 years of age. Eighty percent (4) of the positive cases were asymptomatic.
Of the 2,330 patients diagnosed with the disease, 55 (2.3%) remain in hospital with a stable clinical course. There were 86 deaths (1 per day), two evacuated and 2,187.
