As of yesterday’s close, June 28, 89 patients were in hospitals for clinical epidemiological surveillance. Another 61 people are being monitored in their homes, by the Primary Health Care.
For COVID-19, 2,210 samples were studied, resulting in eight positive samples. The country accumulated 168,545 samples taken and 2,340 positive samples (1.4%). Therefore, at yesterday’s close, eight new cases were confirmed, for an accumulated total of 2,340 in the country.
The eight cases diagnosed are Cuban, of which six were contacts of confirmed cases, and in two the source of infection is not specified. Of the eight diagnosed cases, four are female and four are male. Seventy-five per cent (6) of the positive cases were asymptomatic.
