Cuba reports 61 new cases of Covid-19

As of yesterday’s close, September 1, 1,206 patients were admitted to hospitals for clinical epidemiological surveillance, of which 28 are under surveillance, 610 are suspected and 568 confirmed.

For COVID-19, 5,546 samples were studied, resulting in 61 positive samples. The country accumulates 408,727 samples made and 4,126 positive ones. Therefore, at yesterday’s close, 61 new cases were confirmed, with a total of 4,126 in the country.

Of the 61 diagnosed cases, one is Colombian and 60 are Cuban. Of these 51 were contacts of confirmed cases, and 10 without a precise source of infection. 55.7% (34) were asymptomatic, with a cumulative total of 2,406, representing 58.3% of those confirmed to date. And 24 are male and 37 are female.
