As of yesterday’s closing, September 6, 1,469 patients were admitted to hospitals for clinical epidemiological surveillance, of which 60 are under surveillance, 803 are suspected and 606 are confirmed.
For COVID-19, 7,164 samples were studied, resulting in 43 positive samples. The country accumulated 439,204 samples and 4,352 positive ones (0.99%). Therefore, at the end of yesterday, 43 new cases were confirmed, with an accumulated of 4 thousand 352 in the country.
Of the 43 cases diagnosed, 42 are Cuban and one is a foreign citizen.
Of the total number of diagnosed cases, 32 were contacts of confirmed cases, ten without a precise source of infection and one with a source of infection abroad.
Of the 43 confirmed cases, 27 are male and 16 are female. 51.1% (22) were asymptomatic, accumulating 2,549 representing 58.5% of confirmed cases to date.
Of the 4,352 patients diagnosed with the disease, 606 (13.9%) remain confirmed, 594 98.0% with stable clinical evolution. It is reported 102 deaths (one of the day), two evacuated, 52 discharges of the day, 3 thousand 642 patients recovered (83.7%). Two patients are reported to be in critical condition and 10 in severe condition.
