Cuba reports 42 new cases of Covid-19

As of yesterday’s closing, September 10, 1,697 patients have been admitted to hospitals for clinical epidemiological surveillance, of which 56 are under surveillance, 1,000 are suspected and 641 have been confirmed.

For COVID-19, 7,138 samples were studied, resulting in 42 positive samples. The country accumulates 469,431 samples made and 4,593 positive (0.98%). Therefore, at the end of yesterday, 42 new cases were confirmed, with an accumulated of 4 thousand 593 in the country.

Of the 42 diagnosed cases, all are Cuban. Of the total number of cases (42): 33 were contacts of confirmed cases, eight without a precise source of infection and one with a source of infection abroad.

Of the 42 confirmed cases, 19 are male and 23 are female. 45.2% (19) were asymptomatic, accumulating 2,698 which represent 58.7% of confirmed cases to date.
