As of yesterday’s close, July 16, 213 patients were in hospitals. Another 213 people are being monitored in primary health care.
For COVID-19, 3,179 samples were studied, resulting in four positive samples. The country accumulated 220,739 samples taken and 2,444 positive ones (1.1%). Therefore, at yesterday’s close, four new cases were confirmed, accumulating 2,444 in the country.
The four diagnosed cases were Cuban and 100% of the contacts of confirmed cases. Of the four confirmed cases, three (75%) were female and one (25%) male. Seventy-five percent (3) were asymptomatic cases.
Of the 2,444 patients diagnosed with the disease, 55 (2.2%) remain in the hospital, of whom 54 (98.1%) have a stable clinical course. There were 87 deaths (none during the day), two evacuations and 2,300 recovered patients (94.1%) (15 discharges during the day). One patient was reported to be in serious condition.
