At the close of Sunday’s meeting, Cuba confirmed 37 cases of COVID-19, for a total of 2532 since March 11; two medical discharges and no deaths, Francisco Durán García, national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), informed at a press conference on Monday.
The specialist said that for COVID-19, 3212 samples were studied and 37 were positive. Thus, the country has 250,415 samples and of these 2,532 (1.01%) were positive for SARS-CoV-2.
The whole country processed samples, with emphasis on Havana and Artemisa provinces.
At the close of this July 26, 269 people were admitted to hospitals for clinical-epidemiological surveillance, 169 suspects, 8 in surveillance and 92 patients were confirmed as active. Another 397 people are being monitored in primary health care.
