Havana, Cuba. – From today until Friday, the 14th Cuban Surgery Congress will be held at the Tryp Habana Libre Hotel in the Cuban capital, where prestigious experts will present the main results and advances in this medical specialty.
In the magna meeting they will discuss about the advances of oncological surgery; thyroid and parathyroid; lung and mediastinum; stomach and duodenum; small intestine, colon and rectum.
They will also lecture on minimally invasive surgery, trauma and breast surgery, surgery in the elderly, ambulatory and bariatric, as well as education and medical ethics, nutrition and transplantation, among other topics.
More than a hundred specialists from all over Cuba will participate in the 14th Cuban Surgery Congress, dedicated to professors Benito Saínz Menéndez, Manuel Fuentes Rodríguez, Roberto Méndez Catasús and Rómulo Soler Vaillant.
