Cuba reports 92 positive cases of Covid-19

At the close of Wednesday, September 9, Cuba reported 92 new cases of COVID-19, for a total of 4,551 since last March; 52 medical discharges and two deaths, informed this Thursday in a press conference Dr. Francisco Durán García, national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap).

The specialist said that 1614 patients have been admitted to hospitals for clinical-epidemiological surveillance: At the close of Wednesday, September 9, Cuba reported 92 new cases of COVID-19, for a total of 4,551 since last March; 52 medical discharges and two deaths, informed this Thursday in a press conference Dr. Francisco Durán García, national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap).

He said that 7,569 samples were studied in the country’s molecular biology laboratories and 92 of them were positive. The country accumulates 462,293 tests carried out; of which 4,551 have been positive.
