Ciego de Avila, Cuba, Aug 1 (Prensa Latina) With strict security and protection measures, the Jardines del Rey International Airport in Cayo Coco, central region of Cuba, received the first foreign tourists of the post-Covid-19 recovery phase.
Coming from Nassau, The Bahamas, the visitors were evaluated at the Ciego de Avila air terminal with the hygienic-sanitary protocols established to detect any respiratory symptoms in order to prevent any outbreak of the disease.
The tourists are staying at the Pullman Hotel in Cayo Coco, which belongs to the French chain Accor Hotels, recently certified with the condition for a more hygienic and safer tourism.
According to the hotel’s nurse, Vania López, all the hygiene, cleaning and protection measures are activated in the facility so that the client feels safe and can enjoy a happy stay.
She said that all the premises have the conditions to ensure physical distance, disinfection of hands and means to inform tourists about health measures to be met during their stay.
The tourist destination Jardines del Rey, located in the keys of the north coast in the center of the island, has two other hotels, the Melia, Cayo Coco and Playa Paraiso, certified with the condition Tourism more Hygienic and Safe, ready to receive foreign travelers.
