The Minister of Public Health of Cuba, José Ángel Portal, rejected in Geneva, Switzerland, any manipulation that distorts the true commitment and solidarity principle of Cuban medical cooperation.
That proclamation occurred during his speech at the 12th Meeting of Health Ministers of the Non-Aligned Movement, in the context of the World Assembly on Discipline, which meets in that European city.
In a forum parallel to the event and organized by Bolivia, Portal also gave a conference in which it ratified the commitment of the Caribbean island to share the experiences reached in the development of Primary Health Care.
During a bilateral meeting, the Cuban Minister of Health and the Bolivian Minister of Health, Lilly Montaño, discussed the consolidation of health cooperation between the two countries and agreed on new actions to strengthen what has been achieved.
